Dr. Margo Souza was selected as Willow Brook's principal in 2026 following her role as administrative intern beginning in 2024. Dr. Souza was previously a fourth grade teacher at Lonedell Elementary School in the Lonedell R-XIV School District, where she also served as a summer school principal in 2022. She began her career in education in South Carolina as a third and fifth grade teacher at Kingsbury Elementary School. Dr. Souza earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood and elementary education from Maryville University and a master’s degreed in teaching and learning leadership from Liberty University in Virginia. Dr. Souza also has a master's degree and a doctorate in educational leadership from Maryville.
Carter Kennedy - Administrative Intern

Carter Kennedy was named the administrative intern at Willow Brook in 2026. Prior to that, Kennedy was a social studies teacher at Pattonville Heights Middle School and a volleyball facilitator for Pattonville’s K-8 activities program. Kennedy has a bachelor’s degree in social science secondary education and middle school education from Missouri Baptist University. He is currently working on his master’s degree in educational administration.
