Dear Pattonville families,
Thanks to our incredible students and staff, we’ve had a successful transition this week bringing back our PreK-2 students enrolled in the in-person learning option. As we have mentioned in previous communications, our intention is to bring other students into our classrooms for in-person learning as soon as possible. In consultation with the St. Louis County Department of Public Health, we have determined it is safe to bring back students in third through eighth grade for phase 2 of in-person learning. We will continue to work with the health department on a return to phase 2 for high school students and hope to have an update to share with families in the next week or two.
Each fall, we look forward to welcoming students, parents, alumni, staff and community members to Pattonville High School for our annual homecoming celebration. But this year, since we can't be together, we're bringing the Ville to your home, wherever you may be, for our first-ever global virtual homecoming.
Homecoming is postponed to a date to be determined during the second semester, but we're offering a slate of digital content from Sept. 21 to 26 for everyone in our Pattonville family - past and present - to participate in together.
Some K-2 students who selected in-person instruction this fall returned to school today across the district. We visited Bridgeway, Rose Acres and Willow Brook to see what students and staff members are doing in the classroom. Tomorrow, we will visit Drummond, Parkwood and Remington when students with last names L-Z have their first day of in-person school.

Pattonville School District will continue offering the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) meal program the district offered over the summer until Dec. 31 or until funding runs out and will extend the program to students returning to classrooms. The free meal service is open to all children 18 years of age and under. No ID or paperwork is required to participate.
Students in preschool through second grade (PreK-2) who return to the classroom for phase 2 of in-person learning will receive a free breakfast and lunch each day they are in school.
