Board Actions
The Board of Education on May 8:
  • Approved paying $880,227.40 for regular bills;
  • Approved paying $228,969.39 for purchases made on Pattonville's purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of nearly 1 percent (or $2,106.52);
  • Approved declaring a list of items as surplus to be sold on the district's GovDeals.com website;
  • Approved paying $10,807 to the Missouri School Boards’ Association for 2018-2019 annual membership dues;
  • Approved Aug. 16, 2018, as the school opening date for the 2018-2019 school year;
  • Approved paying $4,632.50 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan and Jackstadt for legal services;
  • Approved the reviewing of Policy JC (School Attendance Areas) and the revising of Policy CBG (Evaluation of the Superintendent) and Policy Procedure DJFA-R-1 (Federal Programs and Projects);
  • Awarded a bid for the purchase of Promethean ActivPanels to Haddock Education Technologies for $38,940;
  • Approved the emergency repair of a broken gas line at Holman Middle School, provided by GRP Mechanical Company, for $20,661.72;
  • Awarded a bid for the purchase and installation of playground equipment at the Pattonville Early Childhood Center to Miracle Recreation, care of Hutchinson Recreation and Design, for $297,252;
  • Approved a contract with Sherwood Forest for the 2018-2019 fifth-grade camp program for a cost of $125 per student with a $2,000 deposit; and
  • Awarded a bid for the purchase and installation of furniture for the Pattonville Early Childhood Center to CI Select for $159,951.27.
